Bombay, India

My first time spending a weekend in Bombay.

While last Saturday was devoted to work from morning 'til late night, I decided to take a break on Sunday. I didn't know where I can find a Christian church, and didn't dare to take cab to far distance alone so I didn't attend Sunday service. Instead, I visited a museum nearby the hotel, called "The Prince of Wales Museum". Inside there were lots of sculptures and pictures of Indian gods, and the religious stories behind each god are what I would describe as "mysterious". You know, Hindu has over eight hundred million number of "god", whew!
The architectural design of the museum (and many other old buildings in Bombay) however are beautiful, though they are worn-out and actually look quite spooky when you see them in the dark. They kind of remind me of those European designed buildings in the city of Chicago. And there is no air-conditioning in the museum so I was sweating all the way for 2 hours.

While walking around the street markets in the afternoon, I discovered a Christian church (Wesleyan denomination) not far from the hotel, so I know where to go next time :)
